Where I Stand On The

Issues

Focused on the issues that matter to District 33

  • EDUCATION IS FUNDEMENTAL

Strong public schools begin with supported teachers. I support competitive pay, safe classrooms, and the resources educators need to help every student succeed. By listening to teachers and parents, we can recruit and retain excellent educators and prepare our children for college, careers, and life.

  • WORKING ACROSS THE ISLE

He residents of the 69th District deserve leaders who put people above politics. I will work across the aisle, listen to different perspectives, and find practical solutions to the challenges facing our communities. By focusing on shared priorities, we can make meaningful progress and deliver results for the people we serve.

  • SAFE COMMUNITIES

Safe communities start with well-trained, well-supported law enforcement and strong relationships with the people they serve. I support recruiting and retaining quality officers, strengthening crime prevention, and improving access to mental health and substance abuse services. My goal is to protect our neighborhoods while respecting constitutional rights and ensuring accountability, fairness, and trust.

  • CLEAN AIR, CLEAN WATER

Clean air, clean water, and a healthy Chesapeake Bay are essential to our communities and future generations. I support reducing pollution, protecting our waterways and natural habitats, and restoring the Bay through practical, science-based solutions. By working with farmers, watermen, businesses, and local communities, we can protect our environment while supporting the livelihoods that depend on it.

  • AFORDIBILITY AND THE ECONOMY

Virginia families deserve an economy where hard work provides a stable, affordable life. I support expanding access to affordable housing, lowering everyday costs, and creating opportunities for good-paying jobs. By supporting small businesses, strengthening workforce training, and using taxpayer dollars responsibly, we can help families get ahead and build a stronger Virginia economy.

  • HEALTH CARE

Every Virginian deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. I support lowering prescription drug costs, expanding access to mental health services, and strengthening care in rural and underserved communities. Families should be able to get the care they need without sacrificing groceries, housing, or other essentials.
